Hello and welcome—I’m Vanesa Josevski—wife, mother, business owner, and now, proud children’s book author.

The idea of writing first came to me during Melbourne’s long lockdowns. I was home with a newborn baby in my arms (our sweet Madeline), and our curious three-year-old Maximus by my side. Life slowed down, and for the first time, I had the chance to really watch their world blossom—every giggle, every moment of discovery, and every new connection between them.

Max began showing a deep love for books—he wanted to read everything, asked endless questions, and lit up at every story. One night, after another round of bedtime books, I quietly thought to myself… What if I could write a book, too?

I remember turning to my husband, Zoran, and sharing this thought. His response was simple but powerful—he smiled and said, “You can do it.” His belief in me lit the spark, I will forever be grateful for him.

So, I started. In the quiet hours of the night, during nap times, and in between all the chaos, I jotted down ideas in my phone notes—pages filled with love, imagination, and the bond I was watching unfold between my children. Over time, that simple spark turned into a story, and the simple story became Max and Baby.

My writing style is warm, reflective, and deeply connected to real childhood moments—gently capturing the magic of sibling love and early family life.

When I’m not writing you’ll find me spending time with my family—caravan trips, bike rides, or simply being together outdoors. Storytelling has become another way for me to create lasting memories, inspire young minds, and celebrate the magic of childhood.
